Renee Knight,
Homebuyers Advocate owner and founder, is a lifelong resident of
the Macomb County area, and by design, Homebuyers Advocate is
located in Macomb County, too. "Half the battle in helping
potential buyers look for homes is knowing the people, the
businesses, and the neighborhoods in the area," believes Renee.
"It saves time and energy when you know your way around and you're
recognized by people and officials you need to do business with."
Renee's interest in
real estate dates back to the early 80's. Since then, she has
successfully earned numerous professional certifications and
designations including: ABR (Accredited Buyer Representative),
CEBR (Certified Exclusive Buyer Representative), CRS (Certified
Residential Specialist), e-PRO (Internet / Online Real Estate
Technical Training), GRI (Graduate REALTORS® Institute
I, II, III). Renee's real estate education also includes: NAR
Residential Appraisal Courses I, II, III and REALTORS®
Professional Standards Training.
Staying both
current and connected are vital to Renee's ever-updating real
estate knowledge base, hence her long list of Professional
Affiliations: National Association of REALTORS®,
Michigan Association of REALTORS®, Macomb County
Association of REALTORS®, MiRealSource, National Association of Exclusive Buyer Agents, Real
Estate Buyer Agency Council, and Residential Sales Council.
When not wearing
her real estate hat, Renee enjoys many of life's other pleasures:
family, including two delightful grandchildren; hobbies,
including home design and gardening; and community service...with
Macomb County Habitat for Humanity at the top of that list.
According to Renee, hammering out a wall in the morning and a
complicated real estate deal in the afternoon makes for a
pretty-darn-good day. |
